Sports Bar & Grill in Chicago is seeking professional, alert, and dependable Door Staff/Security to join the team. You will help maintain a safe, welcoming environment and monitor entry to enforce policies.

Ideal candidates are 25+ years old with prior security or door staff experience, strong communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. A professional presence and licensing compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Previous security or door staff experience preferred.
• Must meet all applicable security licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and controlled environment for guests and staff.
• Monitor entry, check IDs, and enforce house policies.
• Handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• De-escalate conflicts and resolve disputes using sound judgment.
• Recognize potential problems early and prevent situations from escalating.
• Work closely with management and team members to ensure guest safety.
