Job summary

The Children’s Place in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team and deliver excellent customer service. You will maintain product knowledge, assist with merchandising, and contribute to a clean, organized store and backroom.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting promotions, managing stock, and following Loss Prevention procedures. Must be at least 18 with a high school diploma and flexible scheduling, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency, prioritizing assistance.
• Greet and acknowledge customers with appropriate service.
• Communicate value and promotions, and offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cash wrap and educate on PLACE Card benefits.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure sizes and styles are represented.
• Follow merchandising, signage, and display standards.
• Keep stockroom neat and organized; maintain a customer-ready environment; adhere to safety requirements.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standard.
• Protect company assets by following Loss Prevention procedures.
• Inform leadership of maintenance needs to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Contribute to achievement of store goals.
• Support stock processing as needed.
