Nordstrom Rack is hiring in Northbrook, Illinois for a versatile team member role. You will work across Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment to create a welcoming shopping experience and keep the floor neat for customers.

You will assist customers at checkout, stock shelves, manage merchandize flow, and help with inventories while using store technologies. A flexible schedule supports work-life balance and growth opportunities within Nordstrom.

Qualifications

• Comfort with operating a POS system and basic inventory tools.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays runway ready, and is sized and filled in through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
• Assist customers when cashiering with a variety of transactions across different platforms (in-store, online and mobile), including operating a point-of-sale system and handling items of all sizes.
• Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free customer experience by organizing clothing and returning items to the salesfloor.
• Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment and adhere to standards.
• Promote Nordstrom Rewards and other initiatives.
