Qualifications

• Six months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively with customers or associates of the organization.
• Ability to understand and respond to verbal instructions or questions.
• Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide; compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist in answering questions about merchandise and locating items using the S.A.L.E.S. process.
• Complete company and departmental paperwork including Price Change Bulletins, Operation Actions, Red Tags, and Bin Tags.
• Receive, unpack, and stock merchandise; replenish as needed.
• Display merchandise on end caps and shelves per planogram; build displays as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and onhand reports.
• Follow nightly maintenance and keep store clean.
• Maintain familiarity with new products and promotions.
• Engage customers to highlight Ace Rewards benefits and promotions.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
