Job summary

Wildwood Recovery Center in Clintwood, VA seeks a Patient Care Specialist to support daily residential operations and ensure safety and well-being of clients in recovery. You will supervise clients, assist with daily living, and support therapeutic programming under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in residential behavioral health preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Virginia driver’s license preferred or accessible transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous supervision and support to residential clients to ensure a safe, structured environment.
• Assist with daily residential operations including client orientation and routines.
• Conduct rounds, monitor behavior, and respond to crises with de-escalation techniques.
• Accurately document rounds, incidents, and observations; maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA.
