Job summary

Kendall Toyota of Bend is seeking a recon technician for part-time, swing shift and weekend hours in Bend, Oregon. The role focuses on used vehicle recon, inspections, diagnostics, and preparing vehicles for sale or service.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical or tech experience at a dealership or large independent shop.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
• Must have ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.
• A valid driver license and good driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and identify work to be completed on various vehicles.
• Perform adjustments and calibrations, replenish fluids, disassemble/reassemble components, repair or replace parts.
• Use independent judgment to make decisions, document all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies.
• Road test all vehicles to ensure quality of work and issue resolution.
