Job summary

Kendall Auto Group in Eugene, Oregon is seeking a full-time Reconditioning / Used Vehicle Technician to perform safety inspections, diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance on a variety of makes and models for our pre-owned inventory. You will handle repair orders, diagnose issues, and complete QC checks while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Must have mechanical or tech experience in a dealership or large shop; ASE is a plus; valid driver license required.

Qualifications

• This is not an entry level position.
• Candidates must have mechanical or tech experience at a dealership or large independent shop.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
• Must be able to operate a wide variety of vehicles (automatic and manual).
• A valid driver license and good driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and carry out Repair Orders.
• Perform diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.
• Perform high quality and efficient repairs for systems including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.
• Maintain organized workspace and accounting for dealership and personal tools.
• Perform Quality Control checks on repaired vehicles.
