Job summary

Jovie in Minnetonka, MN is seeking an Assistant Teacher to engage with toddlers and preschoolers through hands-on activities and thoughtful observation. You will document milestones, support age-appropriate development, and contribute to a nurturing classroom environment.

This role offers on-the-job training, flexible part-time or full-time schedules, and opportunities to grow toward classroom teaching or nanny-related careers while working with families in a supportive daycare setting.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass required state and company background checks.
• Willing to get CPR certification, MMR vaccination, TB test, and COVID-19 vaccination.
• Complete online training.
• Demonstrated experience working with children or excellent customer service experience.

Spend your days with bright and energetic kiddos in your role as Assistant Teacher at our partner daycare and preschool. Are you a natural teacher or caregiver for young children? Do you giggle and get excited to see the wonder in the eyes of children when playing make believe, doing craft projects or hearing a book for the first time? Do you need a flexible part time schedule?

Associate Teacher positions are available working with toddlers, and preschoolers. If you have experience as a babysitter, summer nanny, church nursery, camp counselor or the like, we'd like to hear from you!
