Job summary

Jovie in Bellevue, USA is seeking an Assistant Teacher to work with toddlers and preschoolers in partner daycare and preschool locations. The position offers a flexible part-time schedule, with full-time options in some centers, and opportunities to develop professionally through on-the-job training.

You will create engaging activities, document milestones, and ensure safety and development of children, while collaborating with a supportive team in a resource-rich learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass required state and company background checks.
• Willing to get CPR certification, MMR vaccination, TB test, and COVID-19 vaccination.
• Complete online training.
• Demonstrated experience working with children or excellent customer service experience.
• Mask up! Protect yourself and the children that you work with!

• Create and implement hands-on activities based on your observations of children’s interests and skills.
• Document and share the special moments and important milestones of the children in your care.

Associate Teacher positions are available working with toddlers, and preschoolers. If you have experience as a babysitter, summer nanny, church nursery, camp counselor or the like, we'd like to hear from you!
