Job summary

Learning Care Group in New York is hiring Assistant Teachers to care for children in a licensed center. You will maintain a clean, engaging classroom and ensure daily care for every child.

You will observe and plan for child development, communicate with families, and complete training on childcare, preschool and related topics. This is a Monday-Friday role with strong benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Assistant Teachers

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay $16.48-$17.12 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.
• Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees
• Monday-Friday work week
