Advocate Health in North Carolina is seeking a part-time Revenue Cycle Specialist to support registration, insurance verification, and authorization processes. The role requires coordinating with patients and departments to secure approvals and schedule-adjustments, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Registers or pre-registers all scheduled patients for admission, partial hospitalization, and outpatient services.
• Verifies insurance coverage and obtains authorization for all services that requires authorization, pre-certification, and/or referral.
• Coordinates with patients and scheduling departments to reschedule procedures until authorization or patient payment can be arranged. Requests upfront payment of deposits from responsible party.
