Job summary

America West Medical Transportation is seeking a courteous wheelchair Transport Driver to deliver excellent customer service and assist clients with door-to-door service. The role requires a flexible schedule and local, on-the-road work within the region.

Responsibilities include pre-trip vehicle checks, safe driving for corporate clients, and helping clients in and out of the vehicle. A valid state license for the posting location and background checks are required; CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Valid CPR/First Aid card is preferred but not required.
• Drivers should be familiar with the driving region and surrounding areas.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license of the posted job location for at least three years with limited moving violations or at-fault accidents in the last 3 years.
• Background screens include criminal check and drug/alcohol screening.
• Bilingual in another language is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-inspection checks on vehicles before use.
• Ensure all items and devices are stored properly.
• Transport clients to and from destinations safely and courteously.
• Assist clients getting in and out of the vehicle and through the door.
