Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service a network of retail locations across Kentucky and surrounding areas. You will display and maintain greeting cards, gift wrap, party goods, plush, and related items, keeping backrooms organized and inventory up to date.

This role requires reliable transportation, English proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Training is provided, with starting pay of 12.60 per hour and raises to 13.30 after six months and 14.00

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to speak/read/write English.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Access to reliable transportation to cover multiple locations.
• Reliable internet access for updates.
• Willing to learn company-provided tablet for training and daily tasks.
• Available weekends and around major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders, displaying product in greeting card departments and other locations, maintaining backroom areas and other inventory tasks.
• Communicate with management any questions or concerns regarding service or schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment using time management and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime retail hours.
• Availability for additional working days and extended hours during major holidays.
• Provide occasional assistance with store resets including fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as requested.
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload in stores, using a company tablet.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
