Commodore Perry Estate in Austin seeks a Server Assistant to support our dining team and elevate every guest experience. Your attentiveness and teamwork will help ensure smooth operations and create memorable moments around our hospitality standards.

You will assist in table setup, deliver beverages, answer guest questions, and coordinate with servers to maintain cleanliness and food safety. Prior Back Server experience is preferred, with flexibility for weekends and holidays and English

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Back Server preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and clearing tables, including arranging utensils, plates, and glassware, and removing used items promptly to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Assist servers in delivering beverages to tables, refilling drinks as needed, and ensuring guests have a positive and uninterrupted dining experience.
• Assist guests as needed, including answering questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring their comfort throughout the dining experience.
• Collaborate with servers and other restaurant staff to ensure efficient service delivery, communicate guest requests or feedback, and coordinate tasks to meet service standards.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including wiping down tables, chairs, and surfaces, and ensuring adherence to food safety protocols.
