Job summary

American Girl in Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitary standards in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced restaurant kitchen environment, supporting the Restaurant Manager and the team.

You will ensure all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans are clean, assist with side work like stock rotation and proper food storage, and contribute to a collaborative, positive work atmosphere.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Restaurant experience, especially as a dishwasher, preferred.
• Ability to perform diverse physical tasks, including standing, walking, and heavy lifting (30–50 lbs).
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans are clean and sanitary according to health standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, floors, and surfaces; sweep, mop, and sanitize.
• Assist with side work such as stock rotation, proper food storage, and station setup/takedown.
• Work collaboratively with the team to build a positive work environment.
