Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification and active Texas license required.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Proficiency with clinical documentation systems and patient records software.
• Solid understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws.
• Experience handling confidential patient information with discretion.
• Strong communication skills for explaining procedures and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech therapy services per physician orders and individualized plans of care.
• Design and implement engaging, evidence-based exercises tailored to patient goals.
• Provide counseling, education, and support to patients and families.
• Establish measurable goals and track patient progress.
• Ensure proper setup, use, and sterilization of therapy equipment.
• Review patient records before sessions to tailor treatment.
