Qualifications

• Active Michigan Speech Therapy license is required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are essential.
• Home health care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech pathology or audiology services per physician's plan of treatment.
• Assist the physician in assessing function and developing/revising the plan of care.
• Document patient responses to treatment and report changes to the care team.
• Educate patient, family and health team on speech pathology, promoting caregiver independence.
• Refer for hearing tests when needed and check hearing devices.
