Job summary

Alternate Solutions Health Network seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy in home health within the Columbus area. You will educate patients and families, document progress, and coordinate with physicians to ensure safe, effective care.

The role requires driving within the territory; a valid license and auto insurance are needed. A guaranteed base salary with uncapped bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of one year of experience as an SLP preferred.
• Home care experience is desired.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy as ordered by the physician.
• Develop and adjust a plan of care.
• Document treatment and progress in chart notes.
• Educate patients and families about therapy and home exercises.
• Promote continuity of care across admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Travel as required for patient care within the territory.
