Job summary

The Charter School for Applied Technologies seeks a Flex Teacher to join our High School team for the 2026-27 school year. This exempt, 10-month role reports to the High School Principal and begins ASAP.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging instruction, differentiating for diverse learners, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum and assessments, and integrating technology. A strong candidate will mentor peers and support family engagement within CSAT's team-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Education degree with student teaching completed.
• At least two years of classroom experience with a satisfactory rating.
• Three professional recommendations from educators or administrators.
• Strong classroom instruction and pedagogical skills.
• Highly organized and independent worker with strong communication.
• PLC model experience and team-based collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction using varied methodologies and curriculum resources.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student populations.
• Establish and manage student-centered classrooms for independent and group work.
• Develop and use rubrics for assessing student performance.
• Integrate technology into instruction and communication.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and professional development.
• Mentor and coach team members as needed.
