Job summary

Shaner Hotels seeks a detail-oriented Guest Room Attendant for the Homewood Suites by Hilton Daytona Beach Speedway-Airport. You will maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and common areas, following brand standards and safety procedures.

The role requires flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, and requires strong communication with guests and colleagues. Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
• Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
• Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
• Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
• Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
