Job summary

Right at Home Fremont is hiring compassionate caregivers to support seniors across Fremont, Union City, Newark and Hayward. Compensation ranges from $19 to $20 per hour with flexible 4–10 hour day shifts and weekly pay.

We offer overtime and holiday pay, paid sick leave, mileage reimbursement, free uniform, and access to Right at Home University and free CEUs. Minimum 3 months caregiving experience, English literacy, and TB screening are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months caregiving experience.
• Genuine compassion for older adults.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Valid HCA license and TB screening.
• Reliable transportation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting).
• Support mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal prep and light housekeeping.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Drive or accompany clients to appointments or errands.
• Monitor and report changes in client conditions.
• Follow personalized care plans and communicate with team as needed.
