Job summary

Cadence Education in Fort Thomas, KY, seeks a Preschool Teacher to support classroom operations under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment and deliver Cadence Education programs to meet diverse developmental needs, including IEPs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred but not required if state licensing requirements are met.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher in a licensed childcare center.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Greet children and families daily and establish professional, welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavioral support plans.
• Support Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents accordingly.
• Assist in managing and escalating child behaviors per Cadence policies.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development.
