Job summary

FAR Inspections is seeking an independent contractor to perform residential occupancy verifications in Mason County, Michigan. You will manage your own routing and schedule, with inspections designed for quick 5–6 minute on-site visits and steady month-to-month volume.

As a 1099 field inspector, you are paid a set fee per inspection and can earn roughly $25–$35 per hour, depending on county volume and efficiency. Flexible schedule and autonomous work style are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Own equipment including smartphone capable of running mobile reporting apps.
• Computer with internet and a printer.
• Ability to pass a standard background check.
• Independent contractor with per-inspection pay (1099).

Responsibilities
