Job summary

iAnthus Capital Management is seeking a Dispensary Associate to support daily operations in our Bethesda dispensary. You will work within a patient-centric team to deliver compliant service, educate patients, and ensure accurate intake and recordkeeping.

This role reports to the Dispensary Manager, Retail Operations. Responsibilities include maintaining compliance with state/local laws, handling cash with care, and participating in inventory reviews.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in retail, hospitality or patient services is preferred.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and basic math proficiency.
• Proficient with HIPAA confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Engage and educate patients in a positive manner
• Maintain accurate patient intake forms
• Assist in qualifying patients for the Verified Financial Hardship (VFH) program
• Maintain compliance with local and state regulations
• Recordkeeping: patient intake forms, cash handling records, chain of custody documents
• Participate in monthly product inventory review and daily operations support
