Qualifications

• Flexible schedule, occasional weekends.
• Class B driver’s license required.
• Meet DOT health requirements.
• Verified clean driving record necessary.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a concrete pump truck safely.
• Perform daily pre-operational inspections for safety.
• Monitor concrete movement during pouring.
• Resolve issues related to pouring and pumping of concrete.
• Evaluate site conditions for safe setup.
• Submit job tickets and inspection forms to the supervisor.
• Keep the unit clean and maintained.

Skills

Normal abilities in hearing, seeing, reading, writing and communicating

Ability to set up a concrete pump correctly

Ability to operate a 20-meter though a 40-meter concrete pump

Ability to operate a line pump

Ability to lift 150 pounds

Ability to trouble-shoot minor mechanical problems

Perform basic concrete preventative maintenance

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
