Job summary
A leading concrete pumping service provider in Raleigh is seeking a Concrete Pump Operator to operate concrete pump trucks safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a Class B driver’s license and a clean driving record, along with the ability to perform pre-operational inspections and minor maintenance. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to lift heavy equipment. Candidates with bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are preferred.
Qualifications
Flexible schedule, occasional weekends.
Class B driver’s license required.
Must meet DOT health requirements.
21 years of age or older.
Must have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
Drive and operate a concrete pump truck safely.
Perform daily pre-operational inspections.
Monitor the movement of concrete.
Resolve issues related to pouring and pumping concrete.
Evaluate site conditions for safety.
Skills
Normal abilities in hearing, seeing, reading, writing and communicating
Ability to set up a concrete pump correctly
Ability to operate a 20-meter through a 40-meter concrete pump
Ability to operate a line pump
Ability to load and unload concrete pumps and attachments
Ability to lift 150 pounds
Trouble-shoot minor mechanical problems
Perform basic concrete preventative maintenance
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
