MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is seeking a Bariatric Surgery Program Coordinator responsible for designing, implementing and coordinating daily administrative activities within the rural health network. The role involves directing staff, overseeing service delivery, and presenting reports on program performance to management and stakeholders.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience, with the opportunity to impact policy and program development while collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• 5 years for support or 0-2 years for professional.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates program design, implementation and daily administrative activities.
• Coordinates service delivery processes for programs administered by an agency.
• Conducts special projects at management's request; prepares and presents reports.
• Provides direction and guidance to staff concerning program issues.
• Attends legislative, public and advocacy group hearings; presents information for discussion and/or decision-making purposes; responds to requests for information.
• Reviews program objectives to determine compatibility with agency's mission; assesses programs and implements policy, procedure or rule changes.
