Job summary

RPM Living seeks a Make Ready technician to prepare apartment units for re-leasing, efficiently completing turnovers to meet quality standards and deadlines.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year in maintenance, and knowledge across trades such as drywall, carpentry, and general repairs. HVAC experience is a plus; on-site work with a flexible schedule and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related experience.
• Knowledge across skilled trades including construction/installation, repair, maintenance, drywall, basic carpentry, and make-ready.
• HVAC experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follows the make-ready checklist to complete repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to move-in.
• Inspects sheetrock and performs caulking, sealing, and touch-up painting.
• Manages inventory of supplies and equipment for make-ready tasks.
• Reduces costs by fixing rather than replacing parts.
• Supports curb appeal through cleaning, painting, and pressure-washing as needed.
• Complies with safety policies, OSHA training, and safety-related laws.
• Delivers high levels of customer service to residents and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
