Job summary

Advancing Beyond the Spectrum (ABS) is seeking an ABA Therapist to provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols to children with autism in home, community, and school settings in Havre de Grace, MD. The role is part-time (17 hours per week) and involves data collection, parent training support, and BCBA collaboration.

You will contribute to meaningful outcomes for children and families while adhering to HIPAA and BACB ethics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in psychology, human services, healthcare, education, or related fields.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• RBT certification preferred or obtained within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Pass pre-employment state and federal background checks.
• Experience in in-home settings preferred.
• Fluency in English required; bilingual a plus.
• Must maintain professionalism, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and community environments.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by licensed BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and effectiveness of treatment plans.
• Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
• Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the BCBA.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and BACB Code of Ethics at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
• Collaborate with treatment team including client, parents, caregivers, and co-workers.
