Job summary

The Navy Exchange Service Command in Fallon, NV is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to join our team at NAS Fallon. You will assist customers, promote upcoming events and promotions, and help maintain a welcoming store environment.

No military affiliation is required to apply; prior retail experience is welcome but not necessary. Flexible scheduling supports part-time hours and family commitments while delivering first-rate service to our military community.

Qualifications

• No experience required. High School Graduate Or Equivalent Preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
• Previous Retail Experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engages, connects and listens to customers to determine needs using questions.
• Directing customers to merchandise and informing them about promotions and STAR card offers with premier service.
• Maintains store appearance and cleanly organized shelves and displays.
• Using a Point-of-Sales system, processes cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards and card payments.
