Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis and surrounding communities seek Respiratory Therapists for RRT/CRT gigs. You will perform direct patient care per physician orders and consult on therapy effectiveness, acting as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.

GIG offers base rates of $35/hour for RRT and $30/hour for CRT with variable shift incentives and flexible day/night hours; no weekend/holiday or fixed shift requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• RRT or CRT credential from NBRC; PALS/ACLS required for ER colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
