Allied Universal in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Security Officer Flex Route Patrol Driver to join our team. The role offers 30–40 hours per week with varying shifts and a self-scheduling program. You will patrol sites, respond to incidents, and support clients with professional service.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Must be willing to travel required distances.

Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas on foot or vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions creating security or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of infractions.
• Permit entry to authorized persons and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe and protect property and ensure proper removal of property.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors politely and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
