Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Unarmed Patrol Driver Holiday Relief in Raleigh, NC. The role offers 30-40 hours per week with a self-scheduling program and irregular shifts to support client needs. You will patrol sites, respond to incidents, and assist people on site while pursuing long-term career growth within a leading security company.

Pay rate is $15.27 per hour. Must be available for varying shifts, have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license where

Qualifications

• Must be able to work varying shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• A valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy requirements.
• Must be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Must be able to travel required distances.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal history considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking, or forbidden articles.
• Permit entry to authorized persons and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal of property per client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
