Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations, display and maintain inventory of greeting cards and related products, and support store resets as needed. The role emphasizes organization, time management, and independent work across Culver City and Los Angeles locations.

The position offers a starting hourly wage with progressive increases, paid training, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with/without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple locations.
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
• Technological competency—able to learn/use company-provided tablet for training/daily tasks.
• Occasional weekends and major holiday scheduling may be required.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on the assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display product within greeting card departments and other locations; maintain backroom areas.
• Communicate with management about schedules or issues.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management and organization.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Assist with store resets or minor fixture work as requested.
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload in stores via company tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
