Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for flexible, customizable schedules across our communities. AffiniCare staffing supports placement across Care Initiatives locations within a region, with options for full-time or part-time hours and travel between facilities.

RNs will provide direct nursing care, maintain safety and quality, administer medications, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license.
• Active CPR certification.
• Twelve months of verifiable RN experience.
• Ability to travel between Care Initiatives communities within your region.
• Residence within reasonable driving distance of Care Initiatives communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.
