Job summary

AffiniCare is seeking Registered Nurses to support Care Initiatives’ 43 skilled nursing communities with a flexible schedule and travel across multiple locations within a region. RNs will provide direct care, administer meds, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.

Requirements include an active Iowa RN license, CPR certification, and at least 12 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license is required.
• Active CPR certification is required.
• Twelve months of verifiable RN experience.
• Ability to travel between Care Initiatives communities in the region.
• Must live within reasonable driving distance of Care Initiatives locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers, and other team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.

Skills
