Job summary

Elma Home Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide delegation services and limited nursing oversight for our small, home-like assisted living setting serving adults with behavioral health and aging-related needs.

This unique role offers extreme flexibility with mostly self-scheduled hours and minimal monthly workload (1–5 hours). Compensation is competitive and based on experience, reflecting the low-stress oversight and meaningful community impact.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license is required.
• Current Nurse Delegation certification is preferred.
• Experience in assisted living, adult family home, behavioral health, geriatrics, or long-term care is preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach is important.

Responsibilities

• Provide nurse delegation and oversight.
• Conduct periodic resident assessments/reassessments.
• Train staff and oversee competency.
• Support chart review/documentation as needed.
• Coordinate care and communicate with providers/pharmacies as needed.
