National Children’s Center, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse / Case Manager in Washington, DC. The role focuses on health, wellness, and medication management for individuals with developmental disabilities.

You’ll travel to programs across Washington, DC, Prince George’s County, and Montgomery County, with a Monday–Friday schedule. This position offers autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Case Manager or Care Manager is helpful and highly valued
• Experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities strongly preferred — professional or lived experience welcome
• 3 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse
• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in Nursing

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessment and care plans for people supported by NCC
• Supervises the clinical function of LPNs, CMTs and TMEs and documents supervision according to regulatory requirements
• Initiate and implement orders for medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Monitor individual health needs and health certificates and maintain Health Passports for individuals
• Refer people/families to health-related and community programs as needed
• Provide guidance and consultation to program staff regarding health management for people with special health needs
• Develop and implement health-related training for NCC supports
• Participate in the Interdisciplinary Team process
