Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking Sales Associates in Big Stone Gap, VA to keep our stores clean, inviting, and running smoothly. You will greet customers, operate the register, and ensure compliance with age verification for lottery, cigarettes, and alcohol.

You’ll also stock shelves and maintain a safe shopping environment in all weather conditions. Opportunities for advancement exist, with weekly pay and flexible schedules including part-time options.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required.
• Basic math skills and ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Sell lottery, cigarette, and alcohol products with age verification and compliance.
• Upsell customers to increase sales.
• Keep store interior and exterior clean and safe, including restrooms and pump area.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to look fresh and full.
• Cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and help wherever needed.
