Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex in Denver to guard clients across industries. This role uses a shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts, offering flexible scheduling to fit availability and gain site experience.

Must meet basic qualifications, pass background and drug screening, and be at least 18 years old (21 if armed). Training and growth opportunities are provided in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• No prior security experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or by vehicle.
• Monitor for unusual conditions and safety hazards.
• Respond to alarms; notify authorities as needed.
• Control access and monitor entrances/exits.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
• Coordinate with team to ensure client requirements.
