Job summary

SFS is growing and seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, supplemental income with projects ranging from light duties to inventory audits across large retailers.

Assignments are project-based, typically 12–20 hours per month, and allow you to select work during available windows. You’ll travel between locations, complete reporting on a mobile device, and earn competitive pay with optional DailyPay enrollment.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, or customer service.
• Ability to read and execute planograms.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for reporting.
• Available to work during weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Reliable transportation between locations.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.
• Active email address for project communication.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
