Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers a flexible, project‑based schedule servicing some of the nation’s largest retailers and brands.

Typical assignments range from 12–20 hours per month, with occasional windows in the first two weeks of each month. You’ll review project instructions, carry out merchandising tasks, perform resets, audits, displays, and reporting using a mobile device.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, resets, auditing, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
