Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors and is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers. This role offers flexible, supplemental income by servicing some of the nation’s largest retailers and brands.

Projects typically range from 12–20 hours per month with client-driven service windows. You will review instructions, perform merchandising tasks, resets, counts, and reporting using a mobile device, traveling between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Submit project completion reports with photos and documentation on the same day of service.
