Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to support major retailers and brands. This flexible, contract-based role offers self-directed scheduling and supplemental income opportunities.

Assignments include merchandising, resets, inventories, and display maintenance with typical projects ranging 12–20 hours per month. Travel between stores is common, and you will report results via mobile devices.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, resets or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Travel between retail locations and reporting on the same day.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and accepted.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
