Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers a flexible, self-motivated schedule with service windows at major retailers and brands.

Assignments typically range 12–20 hours per month, covering merchandising, resets, audits, and display maintenance across multiple locations. Ideal candidates will be detail-minded, able to travel, and proficient with mobile reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, or audits preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Travel between retailer locations as needed.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.
• Active email address for project communication.
• Submit reports and photos on the same day.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and presented
• Travel between retail locations as needed
• Complete reporting with photos and project documentation via mobile device
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed
