Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to support major retailers and brands. This role offers flexible, project-based work with service windows rather than fixed schedules and the opportunity to earn supplemental income by completing merchandising, resets, audits, and display maintenance.

Assignments are typically 12-20 hours per month, with some locations requiring work in the first half of the month.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours
• Reliable transportation for travel between assigned retail locations
• Active email address for project communication and reporting
• Ability to submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed
