Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to support major retailers. Projects range 12–20 hours per month with flexible windows and some first-half-month service requirements.

You’ll work independently on merchandising tasks, resets, inventory, display maintenance, and reporting via mobile devices. Ideal candidates bring merchandising or retail experience, strong attention to detail, ability to follow planograms, and reliable

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Active email address for project communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
