Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, supplemental income servicing major retailers and brands with service windows rather than fixed schedules.

Assignments range from 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring work during the first half of each month. You’ll review instructions, perform merchandising tasks, report via mobile device, and travel between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Merchandising/retail experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of using mobile devices for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and approved.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed.
