Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide contractor network. This flexible, project-based role offers the opportunity to work with major retailers and brands across the United States.

Assignments typically range from 12–20 hours per month with windows provided by clients. If you enjoy independent work, staying active, and delivering high-quality retail execution, we’d love to connect with you.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
