Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers. Enjoy a flexible schedule with project-based pay and opportunities to service major retailers and brands across the United States.

No fixed hours—set your own pace while delivering high-quality retail execution. Assignments typically involve merchandising, resets, audits, and display maintenance for 12–20 hours per month, with some windows during the first two weeks of each month.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, audits or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, weekdays.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day services are performed.
